There’s an old saying we use in the fire service,

“We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training.”

― Archilochus

The fact is, in any emergency situation, logic goes out the window. You don’t think the same, you don’t react the same as you normally would, especially is it involves a loved one. Having some sort of training under your belt and in your wheelhouse will allow you to better react to an emergency situation. They talk about Fight or Flight, but the truth is, most people freeze trying to think through the next step. It looks something like this:

  1. Traumatic Event

  2. Freeze

  3. React

In this video, you will learn the necessary lifesaving skills to control bleeding, apply a tourniquet, pack a wound, pressure dressing, recovery position and so much more. It is so important to have this knowledge in your wheelhouse. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A TRAINED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL TO UNDERSTAND LIFESAVING SKILLS. These are simple techniques that even children can do!

So grab a cup of joe, pull up a seat and spend the next 45 minutes learning something that will truly impact your life and those around you. For more valuable information or to get hands-on training, visit us at
