Before hitting the trails, go prepared and make sure to download our Vehicle Checklist: What to Know Before You Go!
King of the Hammers
King of the Hammers is considered the toughest one-day off road race in the world. Consisting of a wide range of rigs, it combines desert racing and rock crawling, and has expanded from one race to a series of 5 races held throughout the week. There’s no shortage of fun in Hammer Town but be prepared to be self-sufficient. Johnson valley is a dry lake bed with no amenities!
Easter Jeep Safari
This annual event hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club, challenges Jeeps, and some rogue 4×4 trucks, through the rough terrain of the Moab backcountry. The Easter Weekend safari lasts for nine days, going through Easter Sunday. If you own a Jeep and are considering attending this event be sure to book your accommodations early. Moab is a relatively small town and Jeep Safari takes over!
Join thousands of Overlanders from around the world at this premier event that includes classes, seminars and exhibits to get you and your rig ready for the trails. This has become a very popular event and we recommend purchasing either the “Overland Experience” or the “Weekend Pass with Camping” to get the best value and avoid long traffic lines.
Nissan’s off-road and outdoor experience event for 18 years and running! Put this on your calendar and go experience some of the best 4wheeling in the world. All 4-wheel drive trucks and SUV’s are welcome to the event. While certain trail rides carry a minimum equipment requirement, there is something for everyone and all will leave with smiles on their faces!
Set Them Free
Get your tires dirty and join a cause to stand up for good. Proceeds of Set Them Free Off Road supports the rescue and rehabilitation of human trafficking victims. This event is near and dear to our hearts and, quite frankly, it’s the most important event OLS attends! If you can’t make the event, be sure to check out their website and donate via our Make a Difference tab to support this heroic cause!
For over 12 years, the FJ Summit has brought Toyota owners together from across North America to the beautiful, small-town of Ouray. This family-friendly event features a number of amenities, (besides their killer organized trail runs) including catered dinners, a kid’s raffle, classes and clinics to help ensure that everyone learns and grows in this sport.
Hundreds in the Hills
100s in the Hills is a grassroots, family-friendly event, for those looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the San Juan Mountains while hitting the trails with like-minded Land Cruiser enthusiasts. With the exception of one trail (Poughkeepsie Gulch) a completely stock 100 Series can explore all of the trails organized with relative ease. Ticket purchasing opens Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 6:00 PM MT and the event often sells out in minutes so set a reminder on your phone for 3/10/19 at 5:45 pm!
The “Granddaddy” of all 4-wheel events, Jeepers Jamboree is the oldest, toughest, and largest organized event of its type. The Rubicon Trail doesn’t disappoint so if you’re planning to take on this challenge; stop what you’re doing, download our Vehicle Checklist, and check it twice!!! The Con is a very tough trail but the rewards are worth their weight in gold. Rubicon Springs is a Jeeper’s paradise and a great place to be wined, dined, and reflect on what you just accomplished!
